ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT & TRAINING

Learning that shapes everyday practice

_____

Brad Taylor Group works with organizations through customized training and workplace learning, organizational consulting, leadership development, individualized support, facilitation, and strategic planning. Each engagement is shaped around the organization’s people, responsibilities and goals.

When training is part of the work, the purpose is not simply to introduce information. It is to help people recognize useful ideas, practice applying them, and carry learning back into the work.

Training should feel relevant

_____

People are more likely to remember and use learned strategies when they connect to their own responsibilities, questions, and situations.

BTG training may include practical examples, discussion, scenario-based learning, and opportunities to apply ideas.

The content is designed to connect with the work people actually do.

“It's such a pleasure to walk away from a training knowing that I have gained something valuable and useful which will help me be better.”

Specialized Experience

One of BTG’s longstanding areas of training is helping staff prepare for and navigate interactions with people in distress. Those interactions may involve a customer on the phone, a community member in a lobby or service setting, someone encountered in the field, or a person whose distress is connected to mental health, homelessness, or other complex circumstances.

BTG works both with employees who encounter these situations as one part of an otherwise different job and with teams whose work regularly involves supporting people in distress.

*Programs may be adapted for employees, supervisors, managers, leaders, field teams, office teams, and public-facing staff.

Individualized leadership support

_____

Brad Taylor Group provides one-to-one development and individualized support grounded in our client’s goals, role and strengths, current challenges, and organizational context.

This work may focus on supervisory effectiveness, delegation, accountability, role clarity, workplace relationships, difficult conversations, conflict resolution, leadership confidence, stress management, and Self-Care &Team-Care.

The process may include reflective questions, real workplace scenarios, individualized development plans, written reflections, practical action steps, and follow-up designed to help translate insight into everyday practice.

This work remains focused on workplace and leadership development. Concerns requiring HR, legal, clinical, or other specialized support remain with the appropriate resource.

Facilitation & strategic planning

_____

Strategic planning can help an organization understand where it is now, determine where it wants to go, identify priorities, develop goals and strategies, and break the work into practical next steps. BTG facilitates that process while creating opportunities for the people involved to contribute their knowledge and perspectives.

“His training is different. Brad’s style is his own and that is an extremely positive and practical difference.”
